DER RING Mosel 1899 e.V. unites 40 family wineries - from Serrig on the Saar to Winningen on the Terrassenmosel - that are jointly committed to the Riesling and Pinot Noir grape varieties, the cultivation of steep slopes and craftsmanship. This is the only way to produce quality wines on the Moselle, Saar and Ruwer that express the unique slate rock. Founded in 1899, the Ring is the oldest wine auction company in Germany and looks back with pride on a great tradition. DER RING stands for a quality promise at eye level, which is strongly characterized by collegial exchange and knowledge transfer between members and generations.
Deutsches Weininstitut (DWI) is the central communication and marketing organization of the German wine industry. In English, this organization is known as German Wine Institute. The DWI's core task is to promote the quality and sales of wines from the 13 German wine-growing regions through competition-neutral marketing measures in Germany and abroad. These include press and public relations work, the implementation of information campaigns including corresponding events, participation in national and international trade fairs, and the organization of wine presentations and events together with German producers around the world.

TRINK Magazine is an independent quarterly digital publication exploring the “German-speaking wines” of Austria, Germany, Italy, and Switzerland. TRINK launched in 2020. From the outset, our mission has been to deepen the understanding of how wine intersects with and impacts the narrative, culture, history, and geography of the European spaces where German is common cultural currency. Because language shapes not just culture but thought itself, we seek to bring forward insights and voices from behind the language barrier, spotlighting rising talents and established authorities alike.
VDP, Verband Deutscher Prädikatsweingüter e.V. or the Association of German Prädikat Wine Estates, is an association of more than 200 wineries in Germany that promotes binding quality standards and – since 1990 – also ecological management of its members' wineries.[1] Many of Germany's top wine producers are members. It is commonly known by its abbreviation VDP.It was founded in 1910 as Verband Deutscher Naturweinversteigerer e.V., Association of German Natural (i.e. not chaptalized) Wine Auctioneers.[2][3] Founding members were the four regional associations
- Association of Natural Wine Auctioneers of the Rhine Palatinate, founded in 1908
- Rheingau Vineyard Owners Association, founded in 1897 in Rüdesheim on the Rhine
- Trier Association of Vineyard Owners of Mosel, Saar and Ruwer, founded probably in 1910
- Association of natural wine auctioneers in Rheinhessen, founded in 1910.
It consists of 11 regional associations, one for each region in the German wine classification system.
